The Vipers out-rebounded the Toros 48-39 and dished out 13 team assists, but lost the turnover battle 24-13, which contributed to falling on the short side of the scoring ledger.

Fouls and free throws were also a story in the game Friday night. The Vipers committed 29 personal fouls, which led to 36 Austin free throw attempts of which it converted 28. The Vipers meanwhile, shot 26 free throws but made just 15.
